Using Stonechat

Stonechat helps you read and answer messages sent to the business accounts you are authorised to manage, such as a Facebook Page or an Instagram account. You may only connect accounts you have permission to act for.

The platform's rules apply too

Messages sent through Stonechat travel over each platform's official APIs and are subject to that platform's policies, including the limits on when you may message someone. You are responsible for what you send. Using Stonechat for unsolicited messaging, or in any way that breaks a platform's policies, will end your account.

Your content

Your conversations and customer data are yours. We store and process them to run the product on your behalf, and for nothing else.

Paying for Stonechat

Stonechat costs $39 a month for each workspace, with everyone who answers included. A new workspace gets 14 days free from when it connects its first account, and the trial needs no card.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our orders: it takes the payment, charges any sales tax that applies, and sends your receipts. Paddle's buyer terms also apply to your purchase.

A subscription renews every month until you cancel it, which you can do at any time from the billing page in your settings. You keep everything until the end of the month you paid for, and you are not charged again.

If a payment fails, the workspace keeps working while the payment is tried again. If none of the tries go through, the subscription ends, and replying, drafts and the away message pause until you subscribe again. Messages keep arriving and stay in your inbox the whole time, and nothing is deleted.

If we change the price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Availability

We work to keep Stonechat running, but it depends on the platforms you connect, which can change or become unavailable outside our control. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

Ending your account

You can close your account whenever you like. We may close an account that breaks these terms or a connected platform's policies, and we will tell you why.
